LIVAMED 1 (Pitavastatin Calcium) belongs to the group of statins and is used to correct the levels of fatty substances (lipids) in the blood. Pitavastatin is indicated to lower elevated total cholesterol (TC) and LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in adults with primary hypercholesterolemia, including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed (combined) dyslipidemia.

You can take it at any time of the day. However, try to take the tablet at the same time every day, it is recommended to take it in the evening.
At first, the normal dosage is 1 mg once a day. After a few weeks, you may decide to increase the dosage. But the maximum dose for adults is 4 mg per day.
If you have liver problems, you should not take more than 2 mg per day.
